Filmography
My film work grows out of the same questions that shape my performance practice: who gets seen, who gets erased, how bodies become political, and how people create freedom in public. I’m interested in film as both documentation and transformation. These works move through religion, identity, trans experience, public performance, memory, survival, and resistance, preserving moments that might otherwise be forgotten while building a larger visual language around liberation, spirituality, and the body.
The Qween 2018 · Short Documentary
A short documentary that traces my work as a performance artist and activist from 2012 through 2017, bringing together five years of performances centered on religion, abortion, consumerism, and the Dakota Access Pipeline. The film serves as both a portrait of my early practice and an archive of the political and social issues that shaped the work during that period.
SLUR 2019 · Short Film
A deeply personal short film about the emotional and physical violence of living as a transgender person of color. Wearing a garment covered in words that have been weaponized against me, I reclaim those slurs as symbols of survival and resistance. The film confronts religious hypocrisy, dehumanization, and the violence directed at bodies that refuse to disappear.

The Doll Walk 2026 · Documentary Short
On March 30, 2026, trans people and their allies gathered in New York City for The Doll Walk, a public demonstration of visibility, resistance, and community. After the government changes a trans woman's passport gender marker to male, trans women take to the streets of New York in an act of "radical compliance," exposing the contradictions of state-imposed gender while fighting for a future where trans people can exist freely.
Explores the violence that can be justified in the name of faith and the ways religious authority has been used to control bodies, enforce patriarchy, and marginalize queer and trans people. Through performance and sacred imagery, I reclaim the symbols that were once used to condemn me and turn them into tools of resistance.
