Artist Bio

Qween B. Amor, is a trans-queer performance artist zthat utilizes various mediums of performance to send a message of love, freedom, truth and beauty to the general public. She travels from city to city with her message, often demonstrating at political rallies as an activist for social justice and the rights of her community to exist without fear of persecution. Her platform ranges from the street to stage productions. Her dance is a brilliant spectacle that directly speaks to the hearts and minds of the audience which allows them to view life from a different perspective. This perspective is largely characterized through a non-conforming use of gender where male and female are intertwined as one. She very bravely creates a blurred line between right and wrong through her use of religious iconography and unapologetic use of her body.

“As Queer folk, we have a moral responsibility to ourselves and each other to create spaces where our existence is sacred and divine”

Those who have ears let them hear:

At the end of the day, we’re not all going to like each other and the truth of the matter is that we don’t have to. The very least any of us can do in any situation is simply to be kind. Sometimes, the kindest thing that we can do is to mind our own business, keep our hands to ourselves, and if we don’t have anything nice to say, then, don’t say anything at all. Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you.
